Age is calculated as on the closing date of application: 15 July 2026. Delhi domicile rules apply for OBC/SC/ST relaxations in most Delhi subordinate recruitments.

🧮 How Age Is Calculated for DSSSB
- → Age is counted as on 15 July 2026 — the last date of online application, not the date you start the form.
- → For TGT (General): must be between 18 and 30 years on 15 Jul 2026. Born after 15 Jul 2008 → too young. Born before 16 Jul 1996 → over age.
- → If your post allows max 27 or 32 or 37 years, the calculator above (30-year default) may not match — use the post-wise table and mental check or contact post code in PDF.
- → Relaxations add to the post-specific maximum, not a universal 30-year cap.
⚖️ Category-Wise Age Relaxation
- • OBC (Delhi domicile, NCL): +3 years on the post-specific upper limit.
- • SC/ST (Delhi domicile): +5 years on the post-specific upper limit.
- • PwBD: +10/13/15 years depending on category group as per Delhi government rules.
- • Ex-Servicemen: +3 years beyond post maximum where applicable.
- • Departmental candidates may get age benefit for limited departmental posts — see notification.
🔄 Selection Process
- 1 Tier-I (One Tier) examination: objective MCQ for many posts — General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi/English, subject-specific.
- 2 Tier-II / Skill test: for posts requiring typing (DEO), trade test (Fitter), or subject evaluation (TGT).
- 3 Document verification: education, experience, caste/NCL, domicile, PwBD certificates.
- 4 Final merit: combined marks as per scheme of examination for each post code.
- 5 Separate admit cards and exam dates per post — monitor dsssb.delhi.gov.in after application.
